Yaesu FT2800

The Yaesu FT-2800M is quiet and powerful. This ruggedly-built 2 meter transceivers boasts 65 watts of output. Yet no fan is required thanks to Yaesu's new diecast chassis/heat-sink design. The ergonomics are unsurpassed for safe mobile operation. Four power levels are available: 65, 25, 10 and 5 watts. The FT-2800M is MIL-STD 810 tough. You get extended receive from 137-174 MHz. The backlit display has four dimmer levels. There is an external speaker jack on the rear panel. The supplied MH-48AJ6 hand mic includes four programmable keys.

Standard Horizon Marine GX2360

The most important reason to have a VHF radio on board your vessel is safety. The GX2360 meets the internationally recognized requirements for RTCM SC-101 Digital Selective Calling. In an emergency the GX2360 is capable of transmitting an automated Digital MAYDAY transmission that includes GPS position, date and time (when connected to GPS). The A/B key allows programming in two of the most used channels for quick and easy recall. A 30 W Loud Hailer with 4 programmed Fog signals, Bells and Whistles even Listen back! Capability of being connected to TWO, Enhanced full-function, remote microphones (RAM+ Mic). This advance remote operates as a full second station to the fly bridge, cockpit, tower or location of your choice. The submersible RAM+ has a huge channel display, speaker microphone that allows the user to remotely control all VHF radio functions including PA and Hailer functions, Digital Selective Calling functions and can show channel names and repeat GPS information.
