Slalom RTP Training

Theory

The Theory class was a great session for Officials of the Belize Automobile Club. Very insightful and much value to the learning of a brief history session in Motorsports and Safety measures and its evolution and also Slalom concept and how to apply it.

Dr. Juan Pablo, explaining the process of checking Drivers making sure they are in the shape Necessary to be driving and anti- doping Methods to ensure fair competition.

Mr. Juan Carlos Casco introducing the concept of Karting Slalom track design using cones. This was Applied in a practical session the following day.

The process of setting up a slalom was easy as Practice using cups to apply the concept.

Practical Session

 

Practical Session started at 8:30 am on Saturday Morning. The location of the training venue was in Civic Centre parking lot. Property that belongs to the city council granting Belize Automobile Club permission to conduct the Slalom.

As taught in the theoretical session. We started to look and apply the practical ideas to the Slalom on the ground.

Below is our results: Using cones and obstacles the training was put to practice and yielded good results of the understanding of a Slalom and the procedure to run the event in timing and organization.
